Joseph Dodds is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) of the British Psychological Society, a CCC registered counsellor, and a Candidate Member of the Czech Psychoanalytical Society (International Psychoanalytical Association). He lectures in various courses in psychology and psychoanalysis at the CIEE Study Centre, Charles University, the University of New York in Prague and the Anglo-American Universityand is the founder of Muddum Art Space. Joseph Dodds has experience of working with a range of psychological disorders using psychoanalytic psychotherapy, art therapy and ecopsychology/ecotherapy. After completing a BSc in Psychology and Neuroscience from Manchester University he went on to earn a distinction in his MA in Psychoanalytic Studies at Sheffield University where he has since graduated with an MPhil following his research into the psychoanalysis of climate change. Joseph Dodds has completed numerous postgraduate psychotherapy and counselling qualifications including Diplomas in CBT and Addiction Counselling from the University of West of Scotland/Institute of Counselling, and is currently completing a PhD at the University of Bolton. He previously worked at the Ellern Mede Centre for Young People With Eating Disorders in North London and is a member of numerous professional and scientific organisations and societies and is the founder of the Prague Neuropsychoanalysis Group. Mr Dodds has lived and worked primarily in Prague since 1999 and his current research interests include the increasingly productive dialogue between psychoanalysis and the neurosciences, as well as the application of psychological and psychoanalytic insight into the domains of culture, society, art and nature.
